Adam Atwood

Adam has been a resident of Kona for over 31 years. After a career as an Executive Chef for luxury hotels, Adam came to Kiholo to work as the Lead Coordinator for Dr. Earl Bakken. For the past 25 years he has been involved in numerous land use/conservation projects here in Kiholo, including assisting with the Loretta Lynn/Bakken/State Parks land exchange, the Bakken Solar energy and storage facility, consulting and working with the community on the creation of the the Kiholo State Park Reserve, as well as many years of service with Hui Aloha Kiholo as a volunteer and Board Member, assisting Hui Aloha Kiholo in protecting and preserving this special place. Adam is the Board President of the Hawaii Island Humane Society which fits in well with his deep love of all animals and is also an avid nature photographer and surfer.
