La`i Mitchell Chong Vice President La’i was raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i and attended both Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea and Kamehameha Schools Kapalama on O’ahu before graduating from the University of San Diego in 2002.

For La’i, Kiholo has always been a place of refuge and regeneration. She hopes her involvement with Hui will allow her to give back just a fraction of all the blessings Kiholo has given her.

She currently resides in Waimea with her husband Taich, son Kekaha (12) and a growing menagerie of farm animals.
